Unless you’re very experienced with them and your cat is very accustomed to them, don’t ever try those cat bathing bags.

Not unless you want a traumatized, half-strangled kitty, water everywhere, and scratches on every area of skin he can reach when he manages to get one area of the bag open, kick it off his body, then invert it so his head is stuck inside while he thrashes around in a hysterical panic.

Next time?

PetSmart groomers.

Oi; my poor baby.

We can put my cat in the shower… He doesn’t scratch us though he does try to get away from the water.

I can’t imagine what would happen if we put the munchkin in the shower. Just the light spray from the sink head was freaking him out; our showers are glass-walled, and he’d probably hurt himself slamming against them trying to get through the layer of freaky hard air. The cat just…flips a fit in water. The last time he went to the groomer, she could only half-bathe him because he was going just that hysterical, even in the hands of a trained professional.
